RWE Renewables seeks a Supply Chain Manager to work on its portfolio of offshore wind farms in the UK and Ireland. UK offshore wind farm projects currently under construction and with a Contract for Difference contract with the UK government must deliver and report on their agreed supply chain plan.

As a key member of the Supply Chain Team within the RWE Renewables Offshore Wind UK & Ireland Development team, this role will assist in the development of a central supply chain and skills strategy for the UK and Ireland and undertake specific tasks and workstreams in order to establish and implement the strategy. At the same time the role will support a specific RWE project with the delivery of the Supply Chain Plan.
The current project role will be to oversee the delivery of the commitments made in the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm Supply Chain Plan, SCP, in addition to elements of the Stakeholder and Community Engagement Plan. Sofia offshore wind farm is to be constructed on Dogger Bank. These activities relate to positive engagement with the UK supply chain, regional and local suppliers, industry organisations, business leaders, and skills establishments.
Person specification
- Proven experience of stakeholder management
- Experience of supply chain activities and developing skills
- Ability to build relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders
- Knowledge of offshore wind or renewables industry
- Experience of co-ordinating events and meetings
